Organic Linseed Oil & Beeswax Protection

The option to protect your interior sauna benches and floor boards with an all natural mix of purified linseed oil and beeswax is largely based on preference. Some traditional sauna bathers believe it's best to let the natural oils from your body penetrate into the wood to enhance its spiritual benefits, while the sauna heat keeps it hygienic. And others enjoy the convenience and longevity that an all natural finish provides. 

This added protection helps repel sweat stains and makes for simpler clean up between sessions.

The professional mix with beeswax allows a much softer and inviting finish than linseed oil alone, which tends to create a harder surface.

The mixture we use comes from Allbäck. They process the highest quality linseed oil that is cold-pressed from Swedish, food grade flax. It then undergoes an aging and purification process to remove the protein before being bottled raw, meaning there is no need for any toxic additives. Quality unlike anything you will find at your local hardware store.
